NIproxy offers a range of services in support of Net Integrator servers.

Our services typically require a small amount of up-front configuration, and then allow you virtually transparent use of your Net Integrator services, improving your service availability, avoiding service provider port blockages, and making your life easier.

Proxy Services

Many Net Integrator servers are located on networks with limited reliability and service guarantees, using cable modems or xDSL technologies. Additionally, some network providers block or disallow email/SMTP and web/HTTP servers on their networks, making it difficult or impossible to effectively use the mail and web services provided by the Net Integrator. Our proxy and caching services can be especially useful in such situations.

• Our Mail Proxy service lets you receive mail on your Net Integrator without using the standard (and often blocked) SMTP port.
• Web Proxying lets you control and maintain your web content on your Net Integrator, without requiring the use of HTTP port 80 on your server.

Caching Services

If your network provider offers "no guarantees", our Web Caching service can keep your web content available, even if your connection is not.

• Web Caching, like Web Proxying, again lets you control and maintain your web content on your Net Integrator, but periodically copies your content to the NIproxy servers, reducing your bandwidth requirements, and keeping your web content available even if your network connection goes down.

Spam Filtering

Are you sick of spam (unsolicited and unwanted email)? We are too. The spam-filtering and blocking services currently provided on the Net Integrator block a lot of incoming spam, but don't catch it all.

• Our Spam Filtering, service augments the Net Integrator's spam filtering by tagging suspected spam, for easier sorting or filtering by your mail client.

Remote Monitoring

We will soon be offering remote monitoring services tailored the Net Integrator servers.

Additional Services

We can also provide our customers with DNS and domain registration services, to make things simpler, and reduce the number of things you need to worry about.
