Our Web Caching service is an extension to our Web Proxy service, that copies your web content from your Net Integrator to an NIproxy web server. This lets you maintain your web pages on your Net Integrator, and have them automatically uploaded to a web server located in a well-connected data centre.

Why is Web Caching Useful?

Web Caching provides all the benefits of Web Proxying -- not requiring HTTP port 80, bandwidth savings -- and keeps your web content available, even if the Net Integrator server at your office is unreachable (e.g. network outage, power failure, etc.). And, in most cases, it will require even less of your limited bandwidth for your web traffic.

How Does Web Caching Work?

Web Caching works very similarly to Web Proxying, except that the NIproxy web server periodically synchronizing the master copy of your web content (on your Net Integrator server) with a copy stored on the NIproxy web server.

This means that your web site will be available even when your office isn't.

Updating Your Content

There will typically be a short delay between the time you update your content on your Net Intrgrator server and the time it is synchronized with the NIproxy web server.

Dynamic Content

You Retain Control

One of the "peace of mind" benefits of this configuration mechanism is that you retain control. In the unlikely event that there is a problem with the service, or if you simply choose to do things differently, you can easily change to another preferred configuration, without having to wait for anyone else to handle your request.
